1. Information We Collect
When you submit a medical tourism inquiry, request a preliminary estimate, or request a clinical teleconsultation, CarePocket collects the following information:
- Contact Details: Patient name, email address, international telephone/WhatsApp number, country of residence, and preferred communication language.
- Medical History & Clinical Questions: Summary of symptoms, current diagnoses, treatment history, and specific procedural preferences submitted by you.
- Uploaded Diagnostic Documents: Medical records, imaging reports, laboratory investigations, and physician referrals that you choose to upload for clinical evaluation.
2. Purpose and Recipients of Your Information
Your personal information and medical records are collected solely to facilitate your healthcare journey and obtain clinical opinions:
- Designated Patient Coordinators: Authorized CarePocket coordination staff who assist with case intake, estimate compilation, and travel scheduling.
- Selected Partner Hospital Medical Boards: The senior clinical faculty, international patient offices, and treating surgeons at the specific hospitals you select or request.
- No Commercial Sale: CarePocket does not sell, lease, or monetize personal or clinical data to any third-party advertisers or commercial brokers.
3. Data Retention and Storage
Diagnostic records and case dossiers are transferred using encrypted HTTPS protocols. Information is retained only for the duration required to complete treatment coordination, travel arrangements, and post-discharge continuity, or as mandated by applicable hospital documentation requirements.
4. Right to Deletion & Access
You maintain full ownership of your health records. You have the right at any time to:
- Request an electronic copy of your case dossier and submitted estimates.
- Request permanent deletion of your contact records and uploaded diagnostic documents from our coordination systems.
- Withdraw consent for medical record forwarding to partner hospitals prior to case assignment.
